Congratulations to the Recipients of the Female Founders Award 2025!

On April 7, 2025, the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany (AmCham Germany) presented its Female Founders Award for the sixth time in Berlin.

Coolar develops solar-powered, electricity-independent cooling systems, while Yuri facilitates research and commercial applications in microgravity. Both companies leverage advanced technology to address global challenges in sustainability and scientific progress.

This year, two female founders have distinguished themselves with their business models that are making significant strides in providing eco-friendly alternatives within the biotech and energy engineering sectors.

The winners of the Female Founders Award 2025 are:

  • Maria Birlem, Co-Founder & CEO, Yuri GmbH

  • Julia R枚mer, Co-Founder & CEO, Coolar UG
