Expert Webinar with KPMG Law

Sep 17, 2025

Expert Event

Description

As promised during his election campaign last year, the first six months of U.S. President Trump’s term has been full of changes to U.S. immigration policy. To enforce strict compliance of U.S. immigration law and regulation, the current administration has restricted travel for visitors that are citizens of certain countries, directed various immigration agencies to more closely scrutinize visitors’ social media presence, and ramped up border security measures.

Whether visitors are traveling to the U.S. for a just few days or embarking on a multi-month or multi-year assignment, there are several policy and process changes to be aware of and plan for. It is paramount for companies who leverage their foreign talent in the United States or are dependent on specialists from abroad to expand their business activities to be well informed about the current practices at USCIS and the U.S. consulates abroad.

Based on their extensive experience, KPMG Law’s experts will share their observations and provide a practical outlook on possible changes in the area of U.S. immigration. This webcast is part two of three sequences of observations which will be shared throughout the year. You can read an overview of the first part of the series here: /news-details/us-immigration-in-2025-and-beyond.
