Daniel Andrich (General Manager, AmCham Germany) greeted participants in AmCham Germany’s Frankfurt office and introduced Christopher Porter (Managing Director and Regional Executive, The Bank of New York Mellon), ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ of the Board of Directors of AmCham Germany, who joined the group for a special conversation on BNY Mellons role in the global banking sector, as well as current transatlantic priorities and hot topics for the industry.
Across the street from AmCham Germany’s downtown office, the group then visited the German stock market for an exclusive tour. The Deutsche Börse, a valued Ambassador member of AmCham Germany, engaged participants by sharing details about their day-to-day work and the strong history of the stock market in Germany.
AmCham Germany’s Patron member Procter & Gamble Deutschland welcomed the group for an exclusive visit to their German Innovation Center in Schwalbach, with remarks given by AmCham Germany Regional Committee Co-Chair Gabriele Haessig (Managing Director Communications & Sustainability). Participants were impressed by the company’s iconic brands, innovation management, and the provided look behind the curtain on product research and assembly.
To round up the afternoon, Deutsche Bank and NextGen Steering Committee member, Shelley Cantrick, (Vice President - Global Business Management, ESG O&A, and NextGen Steering Committee ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ) invited the cohort to an insightful program including a panel discussion and networking reception at Deutsche Bank. Tim Rokossa (Managing Director, Co-Head of European Company Research and leads DB’s automotive research product – Investment Bank) shared his insights on the future of the automotive industry in the context of complex global dynamics. Monika Munoz (Managing Director, Head of Syndicate for Debt Capital Markets Syndication DACH Region - dbResearch) and Matthaeus Sielecki (Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships & Growth, Corporate Coverage DACH – Corporate Bank) joined Shelley and Tim for a panel discussion on transatlantic perspectives and opportunities to build a career in global business.
An exclusive event hosted by FTI Consulting and NextGen participant Caroline Mücke-Kemp (Head of Public & Government Affairs, Managing Director) took place in the evening prior and provided the cohort with valuable insights into current communication factors found in FTI’s Communications Heatmap 2025 study.
