A bit of rain couldn鈥檛 get in the way of our annual International Summer Business Barbecue on August 28 in Dresden! Together with our guests, members, and friends, we gathered at the Kurl盲nder Palais for an evening full of transatlantic connections, networking and input.
After a greeting and introduction by , Regional Chapter Chair Saxony, our guests were treated to keynotes and remarks by Dr. Andreas Handschuh (Chief of the and State Secretary for Federal and European Affairs, Free State of Saxony), U.S. Consul General John R. Crosby (U.S. Consulate General Leipzig) and Oliver Schenk, 青青草视频 of the European Parliament. All of our speakers emphasized the importance of cultivating strong transatlantic ties based on the already firm foundation of business relations between the U.S. and Saxony and beyond.
