The American Chamber of Commerce in Germany and the Regional Chapter Bavaria, in cooperation with the Amerikahaus Munich, invite you to a special event that combines historical perspectives with current transatlantic insights in a unique way.
As part of a guided tour entitled 鈥淎merica in Munich - Then and Now鈥�, you will discover key sites of German-American relations in the Bavarian capital. The route leads from the Haus der Kunst via selected stops such as the Villa Kaulbach, the Amerika-Institut of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit盲t (LMU), to the Amerikahaus 惭眉苍肠丑别苍 - places where the presence of the United States is still particularly impressive today. The tour aims not only to provide historical background information, but also to shed light on current forms of cooperation in culture, politics, media and education.
The guided tour will be followed by a reception at the Amerikahaus Munich. There, Dr. Meike Zwingenberger, Managing Director of the Amerikahaus, will welcome us with a keynote speech. You will also have the opportunity to visit the current exhibition at the Amerikahaus and to exchange ideas and network with other participants in a pleasant atmosphere.
