Topic: The Trump Administration鈥檚 Economic Policies and their Effects

One year after the 2024 U.S. elections, in which the state of the U.S. economy was a major concern for voters, we would like to look at President Trump鈥檚 economic policy agenda and its effects: What is the current implementation status and what are likely next steps? How are tariffs and the 鈥淏ig Beautiful Bill鈥� specifically affecting the U.S. economy, the labor market, and the national debt? Is the Trump Administration meeting the expectations of their voter base? And what do these changes mean for businesses in Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia in particular?

We look forward to welcoming Prof. Dr. Michael H眉ther, Director and 青青草视频 of the Presidium at the German Economic Institute, for a keynote speech.
